Congratulations! You are having a baby!

The news of a new baby can be both exciting and overwhelming! So may things to think about… and somewhere in those 9 months, we all realize that we need to pick a pediatrician!

What next?

Do your research and find out what is important to you! You have obviously landed on our website for a reason and we are proud that you are considering us to care for your new baby!

First thing to consider: vaccination!

At our practice, ALL children follow the CDC recommended vaccine schedule. Vaccination is something we strongly believe in as an essential part of optimal healthcare. If you are not planning on vaccinating or are looking for alternative vaccination schedule, unfortunately, our practice would not be a good match for you.

Who is accepting new patients?

At the moment three of our providers are accepting new patients: Dr. Khettry, Dr. Tisei and Dr. Atkinson. Every patient will also be assigned a Nurse Practitioner as part of their Care Team.

Prenatal appointments: yes or no?

Some parents-to-be are unsure if a prenatal is mandatory to establish care. It is not. However, we do offer prenatal visits or meet & greets to those who are interested in coming to our office and having a tour of the facility, as well as getting to know more about our practice itself.

If you decide to skip the tour, that is fine too. You can always call our office to ask any important questions to you or call us to schedule the newborn visit, two days after your baby is discharged from the hospital.

The most important thing if you choose us as your child’s pediatrician, is to add our information to your hospital forms, especially if you are delivering at Brigham & Women’s or Beth Israel, as our providers round at those hospitals to check on our newest patients.
