Andrew Saluti, DO
Dr. Saluti received his B.S. from the University of Connecticut in 2005. After working for a year as a research assistant for Brigham and Women’s Hospital, he went to medical school in Maine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then returned to Boston to do residency at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. After completing residency, he joined the practice in August 2013, and is happy to be working in a community neighboring the town he grew up in.
(A DO is a doctor of osteopathic medicine. Parents need to know that DO’s attend medical schools that have an equivalent curriculum to those attended by MD’s. They attend the same residency programs as MD’s and have to pass the same level qualifying exams. DO’s, however, have additional training in using their hands to diagnose and treat their patients using osteopathic manipulative treatments (OMT).) Click here to learn more!
